UCAS Preparation
Every year, 50% of Hedingham students will go on to further their studies at university. To help them with this preparation we work closely with all students wishing to go on and study for a degree. In the Summer Term of Year 12 all students spend a day off timetable finding out about their post 16 options including University. This gives the students a head start in thinking about what they want to do after they leave Hedingham. Students are also supported through one to one meetings with the Leader of Sixth Form, support from their tutors with writing their personal statements and tutor references. The Leader of Sixth Form also checks each individual form before it is sent off to make sure it is as strong as possible.
