Children’s Play, Learning & Development (Level 3 BTEC Extended Certificate)
This qualification is for students interested in learning about the early years sector. It is equivalent in size to 1 A level. It supports access to a range of higher education courses, not only in the early years sector, such as degree courses in speech therapy, social work, special education, family support worker and playwork.
No prior study of the sector is needed, but you should have a range of grade 3’s in GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
