Darren Goodey, Barrister, visited Hedingham School on Wednesday to meet with our Sixth Form students

“The legal profession, and particularly the Bar, can seem distant to students in smaller rural communities such as Hedingham School & Sixth Form. The Law Society is keen to show this is not the case and the law is open to all with the determination to follow it. It is important to me that I should play any part I can to introduce students in my local area to a fascinating subject and potential career. Supporting Hedingham School in the great work they already do is a privilege and I am grateful to them for allowing me to share my experiences with their students. Following the 12-week course, students will be involved with a real court case and jury”
