Congratulations to Joe Snell; he is the Jack Petchey Award Winner for February 2017.
Joe was nominated for the amazing work he has done to raise money for Cancer Research. He has worked tirelessly to support the charity, ‘The Smile of Arran’, which was set up in the memory of his friend Arran, who tragically died from a brain tumour when he was only 13 years old. Joe has continued to play in the band that Arran set up and has busked for over 3 years with friends to raise thousands of pounds for his chosen charity. You have also recently received a very prodigious Award as a BBC Radio One Teen Hero when they heard his story. He is a credit to our school community and we are very proud of what he has achieved.
Mr. Panayi presented Joe with a Certificate, Badge and Cheque on Wednesday 8 February 2017.
