Congratulations to George Murlis: he is the Jack Petchey Award Winner for April 2021.
George was nominated for the Jack Petchey Award for April 2021. George has been given this Award for being the sole carer at home when his mother contracted Covid-19 and was incredibly ill and isolating in her bedroom. His brother also needed care and attention as he had a broken leg. George made sure they both had plenty of fluids, meals and medication. He looked after the home and even washed the floors. He is a credit to his family and the school.
Mr Harvison presented George with a Certificate, Badge and Cheque on Wednesday 19 May 2021.
