Medical Officer

MEDICAL OFFICER
LOCAL GOVERNMENT PAY BAND 2 – POINT 11-16
(£12,692 - £13,671 PA ACTUAL SALARY)
32.5 HOURS PER WEEK FOR 39 WEEKS PER YEAR
8.30 AM – 3.30 PM EACH DAY

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are seeking to appoint a capable, experienced individual with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver high quality medical support including first aid.

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience in a first aid role.
* Proven abilities and skills in organisation, communication and attention to detail and excellent record keeping
* Be flexible
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Sense of humour and caring nature.

Experience working in an educational environment would be an advantage together with a first aid qualification and knowledge of SIMs.

The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent ICT skills
* Experience in an Admin role
* Flexibility

Experience working in an educational or library environment would be an advantage together with a knowledge of library cataloguing systems.
